On September 5, the Caucasus Mathematical Center (CMC) organized a presentation for the first year students of the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science of Adyghe State University.

The Dean of the Faculty, Deputy Head of CMC Daud Mamiy talked about all events that were organized by the Center in the past six months and about the opportunities for students that the Center provides. His presentation was followed by the lecture of Alexey Savvateev, rector of University of Dmitry Pozharsky, Deputy Head of CMC. He talked about the connection between mathematics and football and gave his signed book to the winner of the competition of the best word cloud organized by the CMC. The winner was the associate professor of the Department of English philology Elena Doludenko.
The other two speakers of the presentation were Chair of the Department of Applied Mathematics and Information Technologies Marat Aliev and a third year student Valery Lobanov. They talked about summer schools and programming club whose members get awards in the Olympiads in programming every year.
