The Second All-Russian academic conference “Mathematical Talent and Mathematical Education” will take place at Adyghe State University in Maykop (Republic of Adygea, Russian Federation) on December 18-22, 2018. The conference is dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Regional School of Natural Sciences and Mathematics. The first conference “Universities in the System of Finding and Supporting Mathematically Gifted Children and Youth” took place in October of 2015. The current conference will be dedicated to the discussion of a wide range of problems connected to finding and supporting talented children and more advanced preparation of school and university students.
Conference organizers are Adyghe State University and Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (State University).
The conference will include round-table discussions on the current problems of organizing the process of finding, teaching, and raising mathematically gifted children, as well as the problems of their welfare and development.
