On February 14, at 8 pm, CMC hosted a webinar dedicated to Valentine’s Day. The CMC invited a research advisor of the center, famous popularizer of mathematics Alexey Savvateev

Ph.D. to answer questions during the webinar called “For Those in Love… With Mathematics.” The deputy chair of the faculty of mathematics and computer science Oksana Malkhozheva was the webinar host and discussed with Dr.Savvateev how he fell in love with mathematics. The audience also asked about game theory, artificial intelligence, favorite mathematicians, and how to study math if you don’t live in a megalopolis, what Dr.Savvateev sees as his vocation, what the purpose of “100 Lessons in Math” is, etc.
