The 15th All-Russian Camp “Young Mathematician” will be held at the children’s camp “Solnechny” at the All-Russian Children’s Center “Orlyonok” from September 9-10 to September 29-30, 2019.

Selection Regulations (in Russian)

The selection for the program is held in the following tracks:

• “Olympiad Mathematics. Individual participation” (for students in grades 6-10);
• “Olympiad Mathematics. Teams ” (6 people). The team may include students of only one of the three age categories: the senior group (grades 9-10), the middle group (grade 8), the junior group (grades 6-7). The most prepared students of the 8th grade can be part of the senior group. When submitting an application for a team, the team leader selects a nomination and the federal district which the team represents.
• “Machine learning and data analysis” (individual participation for students in grades 8-10);
• “Outside competition participation” (individual participation only for winners and award-winners of the final round of the All-Russian Olympiad of Schoolchildren in Mathematics for the 2018-2019 school year among 9th and 10th grades or the final round of the Euler Olympiad of the 2018-2019 academic year among grades 7-8).

Participants in the Competitive Selection are teenagers, students of grades 6-10 (at the time of application), who were successful in competitions and contests in mathematics at various levels.

The total number of students in a camp is 130 people, of which 100 people are in the Olympiad Mathematics track, 30 people are in the Machine Learning and Data Analysis track.

Applications for the competition are accepted through the Automated System of the Orlyonok (AIS Orlyonok).

An individual participant submits an application for a competition through his personal account in the AIS “Orlyonok”.

The team application is submitted by the team leader (by a person who is at least 18 years old, through his personal account in the AIS “Orlyonok”). The leader uploads the achievements for all the team members and the completed competitive task in his/her personal account.

IMPORTANT!!! A child can be a member of a team or submit an individual application in several nominations.

The competition will take place on May 19, 2019 from 9.00 to 21.00 Moscow time.

The applicants submit their application materials and competitive task at the same time.

We recommend that you prepare and digitize (in .jpg format) your portfolio containing information about your achievements in the past 3 years.

The portfolio includes copies of diplomas, certificates, and other awards confirming the status of the winner or award-winner of mathematical Olympiads and competitions.
