The 16th All-Russian Camp “Young Mathematician” will be held at the children’s camp “Olympic Village” at the All-Russian Children’s Center “Orlyonok” from September 7-8 to September 27-28, 2020.
The contents of the course
The program aims to explore and facilitate mathematical and analytical abilities and creative potential as well as developing research skills. Educational component of the program will be provided by well-known Math teachers, scientists and researchers, trainers of the national Mathematics team, Jury Board members of the All-Russian Schoolchildren Mathematics Olympiad.
The program will also include a team tournament of math games, public lectures and courses in Mathematics, Nature Studies, Liberal Arts and a crash course in Mathematical Olympiads as well as Mathematical marathon and an art festival.
Those who successfully complete the course will significantly expand their knowledge of Nature Studies, receive considerable practical experience in research work and public relations as well as participation in first rate math tournaments.
The Camp is organized jointly by Adyghe State University, the Republican Science and Mathematics School (RSMS), ASU Caucasus Mathematical Center, Phystech School of Applied Mathematics and Informatics (MIPT), Academic Laboratory for Engaging Gifted Students (MIPT), Special Astrophysics Observatory (RAS), Laboratory of Popularization and Promotion of Mathematics (RAS), children’s camp “Olympic Village”.
The participants: the winners of All-Russian contest for the thematic supplementary general enrichment program “The 16th All-Russian Camp “Young Mathematician”. The information on the competitive admissions will be posted on the camp’s official website.
The date of competitive admissions: May 29, 2020.
Entry forms submission period: May 20 – 28, 2020.
Applications for the competition are accepted through the Automated System of the Orlyonok (AIS Orlyonok).
An individual participant submits an application for a competition through his or hers personal account in the AIS “Orlyonok”.
