The second day of the Caucasian Mathematical Olympiad has come to an end!

Based on the feedback from the participants, some problems seemed simple and easy to solve, but because of this “simplicity” the participants were unsure whether their solutions were correct.

After the first round was over, the contestants had a rest and after that listened to a mathematics lecture — “Ten friends of Brower” — given by the member of the jury of the CMO-2023 Danila Dyomin in the conference hall of the Caucasian Mathematical Center.
At the end of the second day of our mathematic celebration, the students got had a chance to have some fun. The Olympiad organizers prepared a lot of entertaining activities, including sketching, ebru therapy, a VR room, board games, a creative thinking workshop, the “What? Where? When?” game, so that everyone could find something to their liking.
The participants of the CMO had a busy and eventful day, but the most interesting part is yet to come!
Let’s wish everyone good luck: the second round of the CMO-2023 is ahead!
