The third day of the Caucasian Mathematical Olympiad is finally over.
March 11 marked the end of the second round of the Caucasian Mathematical Olympiad where the participants had to solve another host of challenging problems.
After all mathematical trials were left behind, the students had a well-deserved rest. They attended a traditional photo session of the CMO and afterwards were invited to join the City Integral quest, a large competition between several teams which traditionally takes place during the Caucasian Mathematical Olympiad. The participants of the quest used route maps to move around the stations in the center of Maykop and try to solve as many math problems as possible within a short amount time. This year’s game was dedicated to the buildings and architecture of the city of Maykop from different eras.
After that, the students listened to a lecture “Mathematics in a fun and interesting way” read by A. Raigorodsky and A. Savvateev.
At the end of the eventful day the students attended a guitar evening session led by of S. Dorichenko.
