The Second Family Mathematical Olympiad

The second Family Mathematical Olympiad was held on April 14, 2019 at the Adyghe State University.

Family Mathematical Olympiad is a team competition for solving unusual mathematical problems. All interested citizens and guests of Adygea could take part in the Olympiad. The number of team members was unlimited. A prerequisite was the presence of 1 child of school age and 1 adult family member.

Olympiad participants were asked to independently choose one of two levels of difficulty for solving the problems: “Rufabgo” or “Oshten”. In each level of difficulty, the team was offered to solve 8 problems in 60 minutes and enter the answers to the tasks in a special form.

The second family mathematical Olympiad gathered 285 participants or 121 families from the republic, which is 46 families more than last year. The team “1 whole 1 Nastenka” consisting of the Chumakov family and Anastasia Ivanova won with the maximum possible points in the Oshten league, the NanoEinstein team (the Platuschikhin family) won in the Rufabgo league in. All participants received certificates of participation, and the winners and award-winners of the Olympiad were awarded diplomas and gifts.
